We provide oil booms and sorbants for recuperation of fuels and oils flowing from ships and yachts that have been damaged. Salvage procedures are carried out with booms to contain fuels as the boats come up. Often when a boat sinks a certain amount of fuel and oil will be released; as the boat is raised the balance will escape to contaminate the area. These oils are collected and disposed of during the lift and contained at the take out points. We also carry powerful pumps for scowering contaminated shore lines, pilings etc. We work with the ministry of transport and Canadian coast guard who supervise these operations on the behalf of the department of the environment. They are our references in regards to this work. Environmental Protection and Pollution Control Services Pollution, especially hydrocarbon (oil-fuel-etc) even in small amounts, are cumulative. Protecting the environment is morally and legally our number one priority. Pro-Motion Marine's services include environmental first response containment and cleanup. . We provide oil containment booms, plug and patch equipment and absorbent pad deployment, at times under the direct supervision of the Canadian Coast Guard Environmental Response Group. Additionally, we own and maintain several high pressure-high volume water pumps for decontamination of shore line and off shore structures, as required. |
